Dimitris Dimitriou completed his studies at the University of Architecture of Rome in 1979. From 1981 retains architectural office in Athens, dealing mainly with private projects. He has undertaken the design and implementation of many villas, apartment buildings and complexes and major office and commercial buildings, hotels, banks, shopping centers and public administration buildings.

He is also active in the field of Consulting in large development and real estate projects of private and public properties, providing integrated services. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Greek Association of Architects, and has participated in many architectural Committees. In 1988 he founded the company D. DIMITRIOU SA , is engaged in the design and construction of real estate projects. He has been a member of the Board of several companies, and since 2002 he is an elected member of the Athens Chamber of Commercial and Industry (ACCI). During , 2013-2014 he was appointed head of the “Hellinikon Office ‘, which has the authority for implementing the development of the site of the old airport of Athens. From December 2014 to June 2015 he served as president and CEO of the public real estate company (ETAD Inc.). He is certified member of RICS, (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor) specializing in the management consulting field.
